A note about the confidentiality of information submitted here...
I will respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained in the course of professional service except for compelling reasons. Compelling reasons shall be defined as but not limited to: a. Consultation with another professional on behalf of the client; b. duty of warn; c. child abuse and sexual molestation; d. any other situation in accordance with statutory requirements.
I am a mandated reporter of child abuse. According to Oklahoma law:
Any mandated reporter, having reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 years is a victim of abuse or neglect, shall report the matter promptly to the county office of the Department of Human Services. Such reports may be made by telephone, in writing, personally or by any other method prescribed by the Department. Any report of abuse or neglect made pursuant to this section shall be made in good faith.
No privilege or contract shall relieve any person from the requirement of reporting pursuant to this law.
